Novel
A love in the Ticino Alps
Lisa, a geologist, travels from Hamburg to Switzerland’s idyllic Ticino region to examine the threat of landslides and avalanches. She stays at the manor house of the D’Amareni family, which is surrounded by a magnificent old vineyard. Leonardo, the shy youngest son of the owner, has for a long time underestimated the enormous forces of nature. During a wine tasting in one of the remote vaults of the cellar, a great catastrophe occurs: a huge rock face comes tumbling down, and people are buried underneath. Now Lisa and Leonardo have to act as a team, and they discover feelings for each other that they are not quite ready to admit.
