Return to Rothschild Avenue
Novel
A book that touches everyone’s life
At the last minute, ten-year-old Fanny is saved from being deported thanks to the courageous intervention of Anna. Her grandmother Betsy survived Theresienstadt but lost her husband, daughter and grandson, and yet she embraces life to the full. Two miracles from a time when tragedy and hope stood side by side as never before. The third part of this family saga recounts the fates of the remaining Sternberg family members, who escaped with their lives and now find themselves scattered all over the world. At the same time, it is a homage to the women of Germany who were left behind in the rubble to face the ruins of their lives, and yet refused to give up hope.
