A novel
Two cultures – one lovestory
A love that must not be. A Swiss mountain village ruled by a Christian sect. A Muslim family with greater influence than the villagers would prefer. This is the story of Rhona and Julian. Both having to meet their parents’ expectations, both having their own personal dreams. But it takes a lot of courage to revolt against the status quo. Who can they trust? Sommer’s new novel is a contemporary, yet timeless parable about love and how it can overcome boundaries. Although happiness always comes at a price. Andreas Sommer, born in 1956, developed media services for universities and founded private schools in Switzerland and England after his psychology and business studies. He has now been writing plays as well as screenplays and film and television treatments for fifteen years. The author lives in Switzerland and France.
