This is a miniature treasure trove: the wisdom of a Japanese master, illustrated with delicate ink drawings.

»The most profound truths are always the simplest.« This was the motto of the great Shiatsu master Hiroshi Nozaki. Everything he needed, he carried in his humble rucksack. Here, he imparts his worldly wisdom to his followers in accordance with the seasons. In springtime, for example, at the time of the cherry blossom, everything that had been buried is released and becomes visible again, as beauty and abundance are once more in full flow. Steeped in the fragrance of Asian philosophy, this book offers easy-to-follow rituals, recipes and physical exercise routines.

Maria Eisele studied German and Italian, and worked as an editor in the press and in Swiss television before starting up her own practice as a Shiatsu therapist in Bülach, Switzerland.
Hirako Toyoko Reymond was born in Tokyo and now lives in Zurich. A master of Sumi-E, she teaches the art of Japanese ink drawing to a select group of pupils. She signs her numerous books with the name »Ho (meaning: abundance).«
