Linda Deslauriers, born in 1965 in Hamburg, now lives in Hawaii. She has a degree in psychology – her thesis was on the importance of hair to mankind - as well as an M.A. in European Languages and Literature. Between 1987 and 1990, the author trained in the techniques and philosophy known as ›Hair Balancing‹. Since then she has been a holistic hair professional in Hawaii and California, along with conducting seminars in Europe. Her previous publications are Highlight on Hair (2004) and Hair Loss – A Thing of the Past! (2007).
