They may have lost their former sway, but their everyday lives, habits and festivities have lost none of their fascination. Today’s royal children show us their best sides while emphasising a tradition going back hundreds of years. As style icons, a new generation of modern aris-tocratic women are about to cast dusty royal customs aside. Both media and onlookers impatiently await the nobility, just to catch a glimpse of unique wedding dresses, evening gowns, accessories and all of the pomp and circumstance.
Lisbeth Bischoff devotes herself to the central issues of European aristocracy – the pursuit of happiness, ensuring a place in history, the continuance of the dynasty. With enthralling portraits of more and less successful princesses and princes, current events and interesting background knowledge, the nobility expert provides an insight into a fairy tale world.
Lisbeth Bischoff has been working for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) since 1972. For decades, she has interviewed worldwide stars from all walks of life – society, film, culture, politics and sports – and has reported on the royal families of the world for European TV stations (ORF, ZDF, RTL, SAT1), international lifestyle magazines and daily newspapers. Since 2004, she has been working as a society and royal correspondent for ORF, e.g. for the editorial department of the Austrian news show »Zeit im Bild«.
