Two friends are becoming fierce enemies: In an authentic manner, the well-known contemporary author tells the story of a ferocious retaliation campaign.

After a long time, Tarek returns to the Istanbul of the seventies to take revenge on the friend of his youth who had once taken away the great love of Tarek's life, had informed him and had him - though innocent - deported to a penal camp in Syria. In an unscrupulous manner, Tarek now orchestrates a scheme unsurpassed in its planning and inventiveness. Against the backdrop of the metropolis on the Bosporus with all its political and cultural turbulency, Thielmann develops a furious novel full of suspense with complex charakters, a clear language and a spectacular and authentic plot.
